"84 days without a catch, the old fisherman sets sail to prove himself once more. What follows is a mystical adventure of opportunity, hope, failure and victory on the ocean waves. Using the seas as myth, metaphor, inspiration and backdrop, The Old Man and the Sea is an immersive community opera co-written and performed by the people of Lowestoft. Come and be enveloped by the old mans story. Come to take charge of the old mans fate. Come, come and Celebrate The Sea!
